Umoya

Nestled into the foothills of Table Mountain, Umoya sits in one of the most striking settings in Hout Bay with sweeping views across the bay, Chapmans Peak, and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. We visited to shoot lifestyle content in autumn, capturing the property exactly as the season shifts: softer light, tones against changing surroundings, and that quieter, in-between atmosphere autumn brings.

Our focus was on showing what makes Umoya genuinely unique, not just the rooms and the views, but the feeling of the place itself. The eco-conscious design, the vegetable and herb garden, the sense of groundedness in every space. It's a location built around sustainability, exclusivity, and the chance to properly unwind, and we wanted the imagery to reflect that same sense of calm and connection to nature, tailored to autumn's particular light and mood.
